At the port of Cannes, made famous by the film festival held here, we did a shore excursion set-up by Windstar. A bunch of us did the wine tasting together and visited two different wineries in the Provence region of France. The varietal the region is most known for is a dry rose, not to be mistaken by the sweeter rose's and low quality wines produced in the states. We were very impressed with the wines we tasted and bought a few to take home with us. We didn't get a chance to see much of Cannes, but had an excellent day tasting and having fun with friends.
