Stopped at a supermercado for a few more provisions and then headed south out of town. We detoured out to the coast to see La Bufadora, a little tourist attraction on the Pacific. Since it was Monday, it was pleasantly not crowded and we haggled with the vendors to buy some trinkets and hammock chairs. The kids enjoyed seeing the 'blowhole' and then we continued on south to our next destination.

We arrived at Mama Espinozas in El Rosario later than expected. Had a great hearty meal and decided to stay in the hotel next door rather travel at night and arrive at camp in the dark. For only $21, we had a clean bed, shower and electricity for the night. Early the next morning, we had breakfast again at Mama's and hit the road. Before we even left El Rosario, Enrique dropped to bump stops in his LR3. We pulled off the road and found the Sasquatch rods, which trick the suspension into a 2 inch lift, had come apart somehow. Once back together, we jacked the truck to reset the suspension and we were back on the road.

We stopped in Catavina and turned off the pavement to start hitting the difficult trail to the mission. Aired down and hit the dirt. The trail has its fair share of challenges, boulders and ledges. My sliders got banged up a bit but everyone made it to the mission without too much drama. We dropped off Rupert's M416 trailer halfway into the trail before it became too difficult. We made camp near the river bed and relaxed by the fire, signing songs and enjoying some cold cerveza.
