Day 4 - After heading back to Moab from the Needles district, we decided to get a hotel room for the night in preparation for an early departure Sunday morning. In addition, showers were way overdue. Weekend hotel rooms are hard to come by in Moab, but we found a room at the Virginian. For others traveling to the area, the town of Green River is about 45 minutes from Moab and more reasonably priced. But since we wanted to drop off gear before doing some trails, we needed to stay in Moab. Refreshed, we decided to tackle Hell's Revenge, a famous slick rock trail at the entrance to Sand Flats. Wow! Incredible trail breathtaking views, steep climbs and descents everywhere. The Rovers took it in stride with no scrapes or trail rash. Some of the climbs and descents were so steep, I was very surprised we didnt scrape. Careful approaches at angles was all it took. I can't wait to go back to Moab and try some other trails in my P38, if I get her back up and running. Sun was setting as we came down from the trail. After some pizza and the last triple IPA from Out of Bounds, we got some rest. Up the next morning at 5am, into the trucks and headed back home. Eric and I took 80, stopping for food and gas and arriving back in Granite Bay 12 and a half hours later. The other guys headed for the Denver airport as Aaron and Mike flew back East. An incredible 5 days filled with exploring and adventure. Can't wait to get back to Moab, one of the most beautiful places in the country.

Working on editing the GoPro footage from Hells Revenge. Unfortunately, video and pictures do not do justice to climbs and descents of the trail.
